Welcome to Twixt Designs. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the website. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.
1. General
Twixt Designs specializes in jewelry and curated bridal hair accessories designed for weddings, gifting, special occasions, and everyday wear.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
By placing an order with Twixt Designs, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Products and Pricing
All prices are listed in:
- USD for international orders
- LKR for Sri Lankan orders
Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
While we strive to ensure all product information, descriptions, and pricing are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. Twixt Designs reserves the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel orders affected by inaccuracies.
Due to the handmade and artisanal nature of some products, slight variations in color, size, stone placement, or finish may occur and are not considered defects.
Product availability is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to discontinue products or limit quantities at any time.
3. Custom and Personalized Orders
Custom-made and personalized items are created specifically for you and therefore cannot be canceled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has begun, except in cases of confirmed manufacturing defects.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming all customization details before placing an order.
Twixt Designs is not responsible for errors submitted by customers, including spelling mistakes, incorrect dates, or incorrect customization requests.
4. Shipping and Delivery
We ship from Sri Lanka to both local and international destinations using tracked courier services.
Local Delivery
Estimated delivery within 1–3 business days after order confirmation and dispatch.
International Shipping
Estimated delivery within 10–12 business days after dispatch, excluding customs processing times.
Please note:
- Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
- Delays may occur due to customs clearance, airline delays, courier disruptions, holidays, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, VAT, or import fees charged by their country.
Important Shipping Information
- Customers must provide accurate shipping details and a valid phone number at checkout.
- Twixt Designs is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or lost parcels caused by incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
- Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery timelines are managed by the courier service.
Order Tracking
- All orders include tracking.
- Shipping confirmation and tracking details will be sent via email once the order is dispatched.
Lost or Delayed Packages
If your package appears delayed or lost, please contact us at twixtdesigns@gmail.com and we will assist in opening an investigation with the courier.
5. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene reasons, Twixt Designs maintains a strict return policy.
No Returns or Exchanges
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect product selection by the customer
- Earrings
- Hair accessories
- Bridal accessories
- Custom-made or personalized items
- Sale or clearance items
- Worn, used, damaged, or tarnished items
All sales are considered final unless the item arrives defective or incorrect.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery at twixtdesigns@gmail.com.
To request assistance, please provide:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the item in natural lighting
- Photographs of the packaging if applicable
Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery may not be accepted.
Resolution for Approved Claims
If your claim is approved, Twixt Designs may, at our discretion:
- Replace the item
- Repair the item where possible
- Issue store credit
- Issue a refund to the original payment method
Return Conditions for Approved Claims
If a return is authorized:
- The item must be unused and in original packaging
- Customers must ship the item back within:
- 3 working days for local orders
- 14 working days for international orders
- Unauthorized returns will not be accepted
- Customers will be charged a restocking free of 35%.
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
Twixt Designs is not responsible for:
- Lost or delayed packages caused by courier services
- Customs delays or import restrictions
- Failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses or contact information provided by the customer
Shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, and import charges are non-refundable.
6. Jewelry Care
To preserve the beauty and lifespan of your jewelry:
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, lotions, saltwater, sweat, and moisture
- Store pieces in a dry place when not in use
- Wipe jewelry gently after wear with a soft cloth
Please note that all plated jewelry, including sterling silver pieces, may naturally tarnish over time depending on wear and care.
Sterling silver jewelry can typically be polished and cleaned to restore shine.
Natural pearls, stones, and plated finishes require gentle handling and proper storage to maintain their appearance over time.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including but not limited to:
- Jewelry designs
- Product photographs
- Branding
- Logos
- Graphics
- Website content
- Text and descriptions
are the sole property of Twixt Designs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
Unauthorized reproduction, copying, distribution, modification, or commercial use is strictly prohibited without written permission from Twixt Designs.
8. Privacy and Data Security
Your personal information is used solely for:
- Order processing
- Customer communication
- Shipping and fulfillment
- Customer service purposes
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except where necessary for payment processing and shipping fulfillment.
Payment information is processed securely through encrypted third-party payment providers. Twixt Designs does not store your full payment details.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Twixt Designs strives to provide accurate information, high-quality products, and timely service. However, we do not guarantee that:
- The website will always be uninterrupted or error-free
- Product colors will appear exactly the same across all devices
- Delivery timelines will always be met
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Twixt Designs shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Delays caused by third parties
- Customs-related delays or charges
- Losses arising from misuse of products
- Allergic reactions or skin sensitivities
- Courier-related delivery issues beyond our control
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total purchase amount paid for the relevant order.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
Any disputes arising from the use of this website or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
