Terms and Conditions

1. General

Welcome to Twixt Designs. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the site.

2. Products and Pricing

  • Twixt Designs specializes in jewelry and bridal hair accessories. Our jewelry and hair accessories is mostly custom-made to order.
  • Prices may change without prior notice.
  • Products are subject to availability. In case of an error in pricing or stock, we reserve the right to cancel orders.

3. Custom and Personalized Orders

  • Please note that custom-made items, including personalized jewelry, bridesmaid's gifts, and custom quantities, are generally non-refundable (see Section 5 for exceptions).

4. Shipping

  • We ship worldwide from Sri Lanka.
  • Delivery times vary depending on the destination and shipping method chosen.
    • Shipping typically takes 15-20 days.
    • Courier shipping (free for orders over US$150) takes 10-12 days.
  • Delivery dates are approximations and not guaranteed, especially during disruptions like COVID-19.
  • Customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please provide your phone number for courier delivery to avoid delays.

5. Returns and Refunds

  • We accept returns for defective items only within 14 days of receipt. Items must be unused and in their original condition.
  • For damaged items, please contact us within 3 days of arrival with an image taken in natural light. Returns must be shipped back within 21 working days of contact.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days after inspection.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for:
    • Custom-made jewelry (unless defective)
    • Intimate items (e.g., earrings for pierced ears)
    • Tarnished jewelry (we do not offer a guarantee regarding plating)
    • Used jewelry
    • Items undeliverable due to incorrect or missing contact information (it is your responsibility to contact the courier company and arrange delivery).

6. Care Instructions

All our jewelry is plated and has a tarnish prevention coating. 

  • All jewelry will come packed in ziplock bags. Please store your jewelry in these bags to help prevent tarnishing.
  • Avoid spraying perfume directly on the jewelry, exposing it to salt spray, or getting it wet.
  • Wipe your jewelry after use before storing it to prevent tarnishing.
  • Please note: All plated jewelry, including Sterling Silver, will tarnish over time. Sterling Silver can be cleaned back to its original color.

7. Intellectual Property

All designs and content on this site are owned by Twixt Designs and are protected by intellectual property laws.
